Logging In to TerraFlow Data Engine
Learn how to access TerraFlow Data Engine, the web-based platform for managing, analyzing, and visualizing your field data.
Time needed: 1-2 minutes
Before you start:
- Have your TerraFlow login credentials ready (email and password)
- Ensure you have an active internet connection
- Verify you've been registered and invited to TerraFlow by your organization administrator
- Use a supported web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge recommended)
Step 1: Navigate to Data Engine
Open TerraFlow Data Engine in your web browser.
- Open your preferred web browser
- Go to: https://app.terraflow.ca
- The TerraFlow Data Engine login page will appear
Bookmark this page for quick access in the future. Data Engine is a web application that works on any device with a browser.
Step 2: Enter Your Credentials
Log in using your TerraFlow account credentials.
- Enter your email address in the username or email field
- Enter your password
- Click Submit
Your credentials are the same ones used for TerraFlow Mobile applications. If you can log in to the mobile app, you can log in to Data Engine.
Step 3: Access Your Data
Once logged in, you'll see the Data Engine dashboard with access to your projects and data.
- View and manage your projects
- Analyze field data collected with TerraFlow Mapper products
- Create maps and reports
- Export data for use in other systems
- Manage users and permissions (if you're an administrator)
Data Engine syncs automatically with data collected in TerraFlow Mobile applications. Changes made in Data Engine are reflected in the mobile apps after synchronization.
Troubleshooting
Forgot your password?
- Click Forgot Password on the login page
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for password reset instructions
- Follow the link to create a new password
- Return to the login page and sign in with your new password
"Invalid credentials" or login fails?
- Verify you're entering the correct email address (check for typos)
- Ensure your password is correct (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Check that Caps Lock is not enabled
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again
- Try a different web browser
Haven't received an invitation to TerraFlow?
- Contact your organization administrator to request access
- Verify they have your correct email address
- Check your spam or junk folder for the invitation email
- Ask your administrator to resend the invitation
Page won't load or shows an error?
- Verify you have an active internet connection
- Try refreshing the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different web browser
- Check if https://app.terraflow.ca is accessible from your network
- Contact your IT department if you're behind a corporate firewall
Can log in to mobile app but not Data Engine?
- Verify you're using the same email address and password
- Clear your browser cache and try again
Browser compatibility issues?
- Use a modern, updated browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
- Enable JavaScript in your browser settings
- Try using an incognito or private browsing window
Tips for Success
- Save your credentials: Use your browser's password manager to save login information securely
- Bookmark the page: Add https://app.terraflow.ca to your bookmarks for quick access
- Stay logged in: Data Engine keeps you logged in on trusted devices—you rarely need to log in again
- Multiple tabs: You can open Data Engine in multiple browser tabs to work on different projects simultaneously
- Mobile access: Data Engine works on mobile browsers, though the interface is optimized for desktop use
- Secure connection: Always verify you're on https://app.terraflow.ca (note the "https") for security
